Pets
Is Three Otters pet-friendly? And, if so, are there any additional fees for pets?
Dogs are welcome, but they must be leashed. We charge $15 for each dog to cover cleaning costs. When you book, please let Rich know how many dogs will be in your party.
Road In & Cars
Is AWD or 4WD really required for those last few miles?
No, our guests have driven all types of cars, vans, SUVs and trucks to Three Otters. The last 3.7 miles is down a hard packed road that used to be the B&O Railroad bed. The road is bumpy and can have some puddles after a heavy rain but go slow and you will be fine.
What’s the deal with cars on the property?
We have designated parking areas. While you may drive to your accommodations and drop of your gear or bring food to the River Kitchen or Grill Pavilion, you must return your car to the parking area when you are done unloading to protect our grounds.
Firearms/Hunting
Are hunters welcome at Three Otters?
Yes, if you are a hunter we welcome you to Three Otters. However, there is no hunting allowed on the property. Firearms must be secure at all times (e.g., locked in your car) and there is absolutely no firing of weapons of any kind at any time on Three Otters property.
